Position Summary

• As an Installation Technician, you’ll be the face of our company—responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber-optic internet services at customer premises. You’lll ensure every installation is clean, professional, and meets the highest technical and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and activate fiber internet services in residential and small business locations

• Run and terminate fiber-optic cables, mount equipment, and configure customer premises equipment (CPE)

• Educate customers on system functionality and answer basic service questions

• Diagnose and resolve service issues on-site when necessary

• Maintain detailed and accurate installation records

• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company and industry standards

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams to ensure job completion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus

• Previous experience in telecommunications, cable, or electrical installation preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and working at heights or in crawl spaces

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
